Fall Holiday & In Season Recipes Snacks

Pumpkin Granola

Fall is finally in the air here in Georgia and that means bonfires, sweaters and all things pumpkin!

Today I am sharing this yummy pumpkin granola recipe. It makes for a healthy homemade snack or seasonal cereal – or both!

I enjoy making homemade granola for so many reasons. The flavor and ingredient possibilities are endless, it’s extremely easy and requires minimal equipment to name a few. And I typically have most of the ingredients in my pantry already!

Once you make homemade granola for the first time and realize how easy (and fun) it is to make, you will start making it all the time.

This pumpkin flavored granola in particular screams cozy vibes with all of the different fall flavors that are packed into it. If you know me, you know that cinnamon is one of my favorite flavors, so I tend to add in an extra pinch or two (wink, wink). I do want to share with you the pumpkin pie spice that I have been using for years. It is the one from Trader Joe’s (see photo). Next time you are at your neighborhood TJ’s, pick this up for you fall baking!

Another seasonal hero in this recipe is the dried apple. It adds another texture in with the crunch of the nuts and oats. We have a dehydrator at home and dry our own fruit including the apples used in this recipe. You can easily buy dried apple in your grocery store. It will save you about 12 hours of drying (lol)!

Let’s get started!
